Modelling

One of our main services, our approach to BIM modeling involves producing drafts and models with the highest level of detailing work possible. Rather than just giving a rough overview of what a finished construction project may look like, we design and collaborate to produce full-scale 3D, 4D, 5D, and even 6D models according to the unique specifications and output requirements necessary for your project. 

Coordination

An integral part of what we do involves coordination and collaboration. Although we have different teams working on different parts and stages of the same project, they all work closely together and liaise to resolve any issues as early as possible. All models and designs are assessed and evaluated and when any issues are flagged and reported, they are dealt with swiftly. Our goal is to make projects run as smoothly and efficiently as possible and reduce unnecessary and avoidable site reworks, which are not only inconvenient but expensive too. 

Fabrication Detailing

When it comes to producing finely detailed models, our fabrication detailing team plays a crucial role. The resulting models are fabricated with full details and comprehensive sheets that outline all the important information for the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing needs of the project.

Automation

Within the area of BIM for the construction, engineering, and architectural industries there are a lot of mundane and laborious tasks that can easily slow down a project. That is why we design programs and scripts to automate some of these manual tasks. As well as freeing up skilled individuals for more project-focused tasks, it also helps to save time, and money and eliminate human error.

BIM Revit Templates

At Draftech, we know that all companies and clients are different and even if they are operating in the same field as others we have worked with, their requirements are unique to their business. When it comes to the creation and implementation of templates, we tailor-make all templates based on your current workflows. This means that we can speed up the production time while also improving the quality of work we produce for you.

Revit Family Creation

We can provide family creation to any level of detail (from LOD0100 to LOD500). AS all our families are created on a parametric basis it means there is a smaller number of families and smaller file sizes for the models. It just helps to keep things easier.

Revit Standards And Procedures

Lack of standards and poor training documentation is one of many reasons for poor model quality and costly mistakes. Draftech will undergo a Standards & Procedures review and create easy-to-use manuals to help your Company aim for the highest standards it deserves.

BIM Management

As part of our expansive and fully involved BIM management throughout a project, we store all models in the cloud and track progress regularly. This allows us to ensure that all teams and departments and you, our customers, are kept in the loop with where we are in the project.
